So I have been wanting to try to make my own laundry supplies and I finally did it! My first laundry product that I made was fabric softener. Thank you campwander.blogspot.com for the awesome recipe! This was seriously the easiest thing to make and it works great!!! The supplies you will need to make this are white vinegar, lavender essential oil, and rubbing alcohol. I bought a 1 quart glass bottle of vinegar to do this batch. For this amount you will need to add 25 drops of lavender essential oil and one teaspoon of rubbing alcohol (for emulsion). Shake well and there you have your homemade fabric softener!! Use 1/2 cup per load of laundry!! Oh and yes I use this with my HE washing machine!
